Pastor Malcolm Ward and the leadership at the Naringal Baptist Church saw the need to employ a Children’s Worker to serve at their church for one day a week.
Despite the concern that there wasn’t enough money in the current budget to address this need, the leadership brought the recommendation to the rest of the congregation for prayer in faith that God will both affirm the appointment and provide the funds needed—and He did!
Gateway Church of Christ in Warrnambool had heard about their prayers and had gifted the church $2000 towards the appointment of a much-needed Children’s Worker, which Pastor Malcom and the church saw as “God’s provision and affirmation to proceed with the appointment”.
Pastor Malcom says, “It was amazing that a church from a different denomination would support us in that way.”
