We are pleased to announce the launch of Baptist Business Services (BBS) in Victoria this month. BBS is a company that provides bookkeeping and payroll services to churches and other Christian organisations. They have been in operation in Western Australia for over a decade and have recently become part of the Baptist Financial Services (BFS) group.
BUV and BFS closely collaborated in bringing BBS to Victoria and the BUV’s Financial Services consulting services will be moved under the umbrella of BBS. Dina Hartono (pictured left with colleague Ayantu Disasa), who has been the BUV Support Hub’s Financial Services Consultant, has moved across to BBS to head up the Victorian BBS team and will be recruiting several more bookkeepers and accountants to complete the team. Churches that are currently being provided bookkeeping services by the BUV will be transitioned to BBS over the next weeks and months.
We are very happy to support this initiative, as it will greatly expand the capacity to support Victorian Baptist churches in any financial related services as BBS aims to support churches to be compliant so they can focus more on ministry outcomes.
