As our culturally and linguistically diverse Baptist Union grows, our entire BUV Support Hub team, are committed to serving our intercultural union.
In 2025 we have introduced a new and collaborative Support Hub staffing model with intercultural resources across our teams. New staff working specifically in the Intercultural area are:
- Rev Joshua Teo has joined our Pastoral Leadership, Support and Development Team as a Regional Pastor in the metro area. Joshua works 3 days a week with a range of churches from those who speak a language other than English, to multiple languages and those who speak English
- Rev Robyn Song has joined Church Health and Capacity Building Team on a full-time basis as an Intercultural Church Health Consultant, working mainly with churches who speak a language other than English or multiple languages.
- Rev Junho Cho has joined the Mission Catalyst team as a church planter on a part time basis.
These new staff members are supported by existing staff members
- Jessen Yeoh also working part-time Church Health and Capacity Building Team as an Intercultural Church Health Consultant
- Charlene Delos-Santos working part-time as the Intercultural Generations Consultant
An additional Intercultural Collaboration Group with representatives from all teams meets monthly through the year to maximise cohesion. (Pictured)
